This 4 week course is led by Studio Lumian’s Lead Photographer, Lumi Ogunde, an internationally awarded and exhibited photographer, with over 10 years in industry, and builds on the 101 and 102 course foundation. Alternatively, a professional photographer with the prerequisite experience from years in industry may enroll without completing the 101 & 102 courses. The 103 course will equip participants who are professional photographers with added knowledge and techniques needed for the next level of their photography career and portfolio improvement.
This course will focus on advance lighting techniques, color theory and editing, advance composition and posing techniques, cultural sensitivity of skin-tone, visual story telling and correctly capturing melanated skin. By the end of the course, participants will have built advanced level of photography skills, have improved portfolio development required of professional photographers with an understanding of the difference between an image and visual story-telling portraits that command higher value due to greater quality output.
